AI visibility pricing, sized like a survey

AI visibility pricing here follows sample size, because that is what decides how certain the numbers can be. A pilot tests the method on a focused set of questions, a panel tracks a steady sample against rivals, and a census covers the whole category. Each is a fixed monthly fee, lower on longer terms, and each starts with a free audit.

Tools versus an analyst-led service

A comparison of vendor pricing pages checked in August 2026 put entry plans for AI visibility tools between about $29 and $250 a month, from Otterly.ai at the low end to Scrunch at the high end.

Those tools are worth using, and many clients keep one. What they do not do is design the question set, decide how many samples each figure needs, check by hand whether an adult brand was dropped for policy reasons, or explain the result in writing. That is the work our fees cover. What each plan measures is described on the LLM visibility audit, share of voice and competitor pages.

A round on each plan

PlanA typical round
PilotAbout 20 questions on two or three assistants, repeated runs, a written readout with ranges
PanelA full question set on four or five assistants, rivals tracked, sources analysed, monthly or quarterly
CensusSeveral markets or languages, larger samples for finer cuts, and quarterly planning

The first round of any plan includes building the question set and coding rules, which later rounds reuse, at no extra charge.

Plan selection

Pilot suits brands that want to know whether AI visibility is a problem before investing more. Panel suits brands ready to track share and rivals over time. Census suits brands selling in several markets, where separate samples are needed for each. The free readout usually shows which fits; if Pilot answers your question, we recommend stopping there.

Payment, tax and notice

Your proposal fixes a monthly rate in US dollars, invoiced monthly, with applicable taxes shown on the invoice and payment due within fourteen days. Committed terms come in three lengths, three, six and twelve months, each carrying a reduced rate for as long as it runs. Without a commitment, or after one ends, written notice from either side closes the plan thirty days later. The terms contain the full wording.

What you keep

The question set, coding rules, saved answers and reports produced for you are yours. If you move the work in-house or to another provider, the series can continue from where we left it, because every rule and answer is documented.

Cadence and cost

Monthly rounds cost more than quarterly ones, and most brands do not need them. Quarterly rounds suit a steady market; monthly rounds suit brands running campaigns or watching a fast-moving rival. A light monthly core set between quarterly rounds is a common middle path, and the plan can switch cadence at any renewal.

Never part of a plan

  • Promised mentions, citations or positions
  • Figures without their sample size
  • Implementation work; we measure and advise
  • Escort or sexual-services clients

Questions

Why pay for this when tracking tools cost less?

Self-serve tools are useful, and entry plans ran from about $29 to $250 a month in an August 2026 comparison of vendor pricing pages. They supply data; we supply question design, repeated sampling, manual checks of adult-topic refusals and a written readout.

Why are the plans named Pilot, Panel and Census?

They follow survey research: a pilot tests the method, a panel tracks a steady sample, and a census covers the full field.

Is the first audit really free?

Yes. It is a smaller sample so you can judge the method before committing.

Do you add sales tax?

Fees are in US dollars; any applicable tax is shown on the invoice.

Find out how often AI assistants name your brand

Tell us your brand, your market and your main competitors. We run a sample of real customer questions through the major AI assistants several times, record mentions and citations, and send back a readout showing the ranges observed. The first one costs nothing and binds you to nothing.
